Issue description
The Engine Identification Module (ID module) experienced an undervoltage condition—a sudden drop in supply voltage—that forced the module to reset itself.

Check the cause
Test the tractor's battery health and alternator output to ensure stable voltage delivery across the system
Inspect the wiring harness leading to component X188 (the ID module) for chafed wires, loose pins, or corrosion that could cause intermittent voltage drops
Disconnect and inspect the plug at the ID module and the main EEM unit for moisture or poor contact
Repair steps
Bypass Procedure (Temporary Fix)
Connect the WinEEM3 service tool to the engine, disconnect the ID module, and enter a 32-character ByPass code (which must be requested from the AGCO/Sisu Help Desk using the engine serial number).
Locate module
Locate the ID module (X188) attached to the engine block.
Disconnect harness
Disconnect the wiring harness from the faulty module.
Remove module
Unbolt and remove the old ID module.
Install module
Install the new ID module securely to the engine block.
Reconnect and clear codes
Reconnect the wiring harness and clear the fault codes using the diagnostic tool.
