The engine control system has been operating in a temporary bypass mode, likely overriding a missing, mismatched, or faulty Diagnostic ID module, and the maximum allowable time limit for this bypass state has run out.

   Check for accompanying Diagnostic ID module codes (such as E9231, E9233, or E9235) that might explain why the bypass was active.

   Inspect the Diagnostic ID module connection (typically near or integrated into the EEM3 engine wiring harness) for corrosion, backed-out pins, or moisture.

   Verify the ECU and ID module match, ensuring the engine control unit has not been recently swapped without transferring or reprogramming the correct ID module.

   Inspect and Clean

   Disconnect the battery. Clean the contacts on the Diagnostic ID module and the EEM3 ECU harness. Reconnect and clear the codes to see if the bypass timer resets or if the module is recognized.

   Connect the AGCO Electronic Diagnostic Tool (EDT).

   Module Recovery/Reprogramming
