Issue description
This indicates that the electrical current (amperage) flowing through the solenoid coil that controls the mid-mount loader valve is exceeding the maximum expected threshold. This is typically caused by a short circuit within the solenoid's internal copper windings, a short to ground in the wiring harness, or a severely sticking valve spool that is causing the solenoid to overwork.

Check the cause
Inspect the wiring harness (short to ground cause): Trace the wiring from the Mid Mount Valve Module to the loader valve solenoid. Look for chafed wires, melted insulation, or pinched harnesses.
Test solenoid resistance (internal short cause): Disconnect the solenoid and use a multimeter to measure the resistance (Ohms) across the coil pins. A reading of zero or near-zero indicates an internal short.
Check spool position sensor (jammed spool cause): Check for concurrent codes (such as M17 through M21) which indicate issues with the Spool Position Sensor Value. If present, the valve spool itself may be jammed.
Inspect hydraulic fluid (sticking spool cause): Ensure the hydraulic fluid is clean and at the proper level. Contaminated fluid can cause the valve spool to stick, leading to premature solenoid failure.
Repair steps
Safety First
Lower the loader to the ground to relieve all mechanical tension. Turn off the tractor and relieve residual hydraulic system pressure by cycling the loader joystick.
Disconnect Power
Disconnect the tractor's battery to prevent accidental electrical shorts during the repair.
Locate the Valve
Locate the mid-mount electronic valve block (typically mounted on the right side of the transmission housing or under the cab step, where the loader hydraulic lines connect).
Remove the Solenoid
Unplug the DIN connector/wiring harness from the faulty solenoid. Remove the retaining nut or cap holding the solenoid coil onto the valve stem.
Swap the Part
Slide the old solenoid coil off the cartridge stem. Clean the stem of any dirt or debris. Slide the new solenoid coil into place and secure it with the retaining nut.
Reassembly
Reconnect the electrical harness. Reconnect the battery.
Testing
Start the tractor, allow hydraulic pressure to build, and test the loader functions to ensure smooth operation and verify that the M09 code has cleared.
