Check the cause
Check for accompanying codes that might isolate the issue, such as spool position sensor value errors (M17-M21), valve calibration issues (0B.00.22), or voltage issues from the loader selector switch in the cab (0B.00.24).
Check the wiring to the Loader Mid Mount Electro Valve Solenoid for an open circuit, low amp draw, or high amp draw.
Consult the specific tractor's service manual to interpret the exact routing of the communication harness between the dash and the valve module.
Repair steps
Inspect Wiring and Connections
Locate the wiring harness running between the Dash and the Mid Mount Valve Module. Inspect for physical damage, disconnected plugs, or connection problems on the hydraulic valve.
Address Solenoid/Wiring Faults
If diagnostic checks revealed an open circuit or abnormal amp draw at the Loader Mid Mount Electro Valve Solenoid, repair the damaged wiring or replace the faulty solenoid.
Clear the DTC
Once the physical connection is restored or the faulty component is replaced, use a compatible Massey Ferguson diagnostic tool to clear the M16 / 0B.00.16 fault code from the system.
