   Inspect the wiring harness and connectors running from the TRANS1 controller to the air brake solenoid for chafing, corrosion, or loose pins

   Use a multimeter to check the resistance of the air brake solenoid coil (an infinite reading indicates an open circuit, while a reading of zero indicates a short circuit)

   Verify that the solenoid is receiving the correct voltage from the TRANS1 module when the brakes are actuated

   Safety First

   Park the tractor on a level surface, chock the wheels (since you are working on the brake system), and disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shorts.

   Locate the Solenoid

   Locate the air brake solenoid valve assembly, typically mounted near the transmission housing or air brake manifold.

   Disconnect Wiring

   Carefully unplug the electrical connector from the faulty air brake solenoid.

   Relieve any residual air pressure in the system. Unbolt the solenoid valve from the air lines and mounting bracket.
