Massey Ferguson T124 – TRANS1: Issue With Signals From Range Solenoid Compared To Range Engaged Switch

The transmission controller commanded a range shift by energizing the range solenoid valve, but the range engaged switch (or range position sensor) did not detect the expected mechanical movement.    Inspect the wiring harnesses and connectors (X488, X489, X490, X491, or X17) between the TRANS1 module, range solenoid valve, and range engaged switches for rubbed wires, corrosion, or loose pins.
