Massey Ferguson T4119 – Transmission Control Module (TRANS): Issue With The Stored Values For The Foot Throttle DYNA VT (TRANS) / X71 - Throttle pedal sensor Parameters lost
Issue description
The transmission controller has lost the calibrated minimum and maximum voltage values for the foot throttle pedal, preventing the system from accurately determining the pedal's position.

Check the cause
Check for recent power loss events, such as a disconnected or dead battery, or a sudden transmission control module reset.
Check for accompanying codes like T4122 (Signal error). If T4122 is present, the sensor itself or its wiring has failed.
Visually inspect the wiring harness and the connector at the X71 Foot Throttle Sensor for corrosion, moisture, or physical damage.
Repair steps
Recalibrate the Throttle Pedal
Perform a throttle pedal calibration via the Datatronic terminal (under transmission/calibration settings) or using the AGCO Electronic Diagnostic Tool (EDT) to teach the module the 0% (idle) and 100% (wide open) voltage parameters of the pedal.
Test Operation
Once calibrated, cycle the tractor's key switch, restart the engine, and test the foot pedal in forward and reverse to ensure the transmission responds smoothly and the code does not return.
Replace the Sensor
If the calibration procedure fails to complete, or if the T4119 code immediately returns upon restarting the tractor, replace the X71 throttle pedal sensor as the internal potentiometer is faulty.
Post-Replacement Calibration
If the sensor is replaced, you must perform the throttle pedal calibration procedure again so the transmission module can learn the exact parameters of the new sensor.
