Massey Ferguson T4150 – TRANS: Transmission Filter Blocked DYNA VT (TRANS)

The high-pressure transmission oil filter blockage switch (X20 switch) has detected that the transmission filter is blocked or obstructed.

   Check the X20 Blockage Switch to verify if the high-pressure transmission oil filter blockage switch is faulty or sending an incorrect signal.

   Inspect the transmission hydraulic oil quality to see if it is heavily polluted, degraded, or contaminated, which would cause premature filter blockage.

   Locate filter

   Locate the high-pressure transmission hydraulic filter (situated at the top of the tank on Dyna-VT models).

   Remove filter

   Remove the blocked transmission filter element.

3. 3

   Drain and refill oil

   If the transmission oil was found to be polluted during the diagnostic check, drain the transmission oil and refill it with an approved fluid (such as AGCO V-TRANS PLUS 10W-40 or Terrac Extra).

   Install new filter

   Install the new Dyna-VT transmission filter element.

   Replace switch

   If the X20 transmission filter blockage switch was found to be faulty during testing, replace the switch.

   Clear codes and test

   Clear the fault codes from the Autotronic 4 transmission controller and test the tractor under load to ensure the code does not return.
