Check the cause
Connect the AGCO Electronic Diagnostic Tool (EDT) or Wintest software to pull a full error report and check for related internal errors (e.g., T41B3, T41B5, T41CF)
Verify the current software version on the EXT Lite / Autotronic 4 controller to see if an update is available to patch known bugs
Check the controller's power supply and CAN network connections (CAN High/Low) for voltage drops or spikes that could corrupt the EEPROM
Repair steps
Software Flash/Update
Using the AGCO EDT, attempt to re-flash the transmission controller with the latest OEM software version to overwrite the faulty programming.
Calibration
If the flash is successful, perform a full Dyna-VT transmission calibration procedure.
Clear and Test
Clear the fault codes and test drive the tractor.
Module Replacement
If the EDT cannot communicate with the module, the flash process fails, or the T41B4 code immediately returns, the internal memory (RAM/EEPROM) of the controller is physically damaged. The transmission controller must be replaced.
Install New Module
Install the new EXT Lite / Autotronic 4 controller, flash it with the correct software payload for the specific tractor chassis using EDT, and perform a full transmission calibration.
