Yale 522713-3 – Vehicle System Controller (VSC) or Engine Control Unit (ECU): Accelerator B Position Sensor OORH (Out of Range High)

This fault code indicates that the signal voltage from the secondary accelerator pedal position sensor (Sensor B) is higher than the acceptable operating range.

   Visually inspect the wiring harness and connectors leading to the accelerator pedal for damage, corrosion, or loose pins

   Check for an open circuit in the sensor power supply wiring

   Use a multimeter to verify that the sensor signal wire is not shorted to the battery source or the 5V sensor supply

   Use diagnostic tools or a multimeter to monitor the output signals of Sensor B while sweeping the pedal through its full range of motion

   Check the sensor input voltages directly at the controller pins to rule out a wiring break between the pedal and the ECU

   Repair Wiring

   If the diagnostic checks reveal an open circuit or a short to the battery/sensor supply, repair or replace the affected section of the wiring harness.
