Product Description

This kingpin connects the steering knuckle to the front axle beam, forming the pivot point for the wheel assembly. It carries the vertical load of the machine and allows the wheel to turn when the steering system applies force to the knuckle. A worn kingpin introduces play in the steering linkage, causing imprecise directional control and uneven tire wear. Carraro manufactures this pin to the original axle-housing bore tolerance, so the pin fits without reaming or bushing modification. On installation, confirm the pin rotates freely in the bushings before securing the retaining hardware.
