Genuine Castolin LASELECTRODE SSA 36 rutile-basic electrode, part number 650174CAS, designed for joining and surfacing of difficult-to-weld steels including high manganese steels, tool steels, spring steels, armour plates, and 13% Cr-steels. Also suitable for joining dissimilar steels and as a buffer layer prior to hardfacing. The weld metal is crack resistant, work-hardens, and is machinable. Conforms to DIN EN 1600: E 18 8 Mn R 32 and AWS A5.4: E307-16 standards. Each electrode measures 3.2 mm in diameter and 300 mm in length. Supplied in a 1 kg carton, with a total package weight of 1.0 kg.
