The Castolin 651064 Xuper 690 is a high-strength welding electrode designed for joining and surfacing a wide range of challenging steels, including high-strength steels, armor plates, tool steels, spring steels, and manganese steels. It is also suitable for creating robust buffer layers in hardfacing applications. This 3.2mm diameter electrode produces crack-free welds with exceptional tensile strength (800-900 MPa) and good elongation (20-25%), ensuring reliable and durable repairs. It conforms to the AWS A5.5 E8018-C3 classification and is suitable for welding with AC or DC+ current.
