The Castolin 79SSA32 is a high-performance rutile-basic coated welding electrode crafted from austenitic CrNiMn steel. It is specifically engineered for robust joining and surfacing of difficult-to-weld steels, including austenitic CrNi steels, high-manganese steels, and heat-resistant steels. This electrode is also ideal for creating reliable buffer layers and for welding dissimilar steel types, delivering strong, ductile welds with excellent mechanical properties. It operates effectively with both AC and DC (+) current.
