The Castolin RDC 40 is a high-quality 4.0mm diameter, 450mm length rutile-cellulose coated welding electrode designed for general purpose welding of unalloyed structural steels, shipbuilding steels, and fine-grain structural steels. It provides excellent arc stability, easy slag removal, and good gap bridging capabilities. Ideal for root passes and vertical-down welding, it ensures reliable and consistent welds. This electrode meets AWS A5.1 E6013 and EN ISO 2560-A E 38 0 RC 11 standards, offering a minimum tensile strength of 470 MPa and a minimum yield strength of 380 MPa.
