Product Description

This rivet secures the cutterbar knife sections to the knife backing plate. It is installed at each section joint along the cutterbar assembly. A loose or worn rivet allows the knife section to shift, which causes uneven cutting and accelerated wear on the ledger plates. The rivet is designed to match the original head profile and shank length so it seats flush in the counterbore without protruding. When replacing, ensure the rivet is fully seated and the head is flush with the knife section surface.
