This plastic bushing serves as a bearing surface for the reel tube on a grain harvester header. It sits between the rotating reel tube and its support bracket, allowing the tube to turn freely while maintaining radial alignment. A worn bushing introduces play in the reel assembly, which can cause the reel tines to contact the cutterbar or the auger. The bushing is molded to match the original tube diameter and bracket bore so that no shimming is required during installation.
