A worn or chipped cutting edge reduces cut quality and increases power draw on the driveline. As an original-manufacturer component, the blade matches the factory-specified steel grade and heat treatment, which governs the edge-holding ability under impact with stones or debris. The bolt-hole geometry and blade thickness are held to the original tolerances so the blade sits flush on the rotor without inducing vibration. On replacement, inspect the rotor mounting surface for wear and torque the retaining bolt to the specified value.
