Product Description

This welded ring is a structural component for the feed-roller housing on a self-propelled forage harvester. It forms the mounting surface that supports the chopper drum and its bearing assembly, maintaining the correct clearance between the drum knives and the shear bar. A cracked or deformed ring allows the drum to shift, leading to uneven chop length and increased vibration. This original part is machined to the same face flatness and bolt-hole alignment as the factory assembly, so no shimming is required during replacement.
