This pneumatic system valve modulates air flow in the brake circuit of the host tractor. It is positioned between the air reservoir and the brake actuators, regulating pressure to the service brakes. A leaking or sticking valve causes delayed brake response or unintended drag, reducing control during field operations. As an original component, the valve body and internal spool are machined to the housing bore tolerance specified by the manufacturer, so no shimming or adapter is needed for a sealed fit. On reinstallation, ensure the air-line fittings are clean and tighten to the torque specified in the service manual.
