This steering knuckle pin seal is a replacement gasket that fits between the kingpin and the steering knuckle housing. It prevents lubricant leakage and blocks dirt and moisture from entering the kingpin bearing area. The seal sits directly on the steering knuckle pin, where it maintains a closed barrier around the rotating joint. A worn seal allows grease loss and contamination ingress, which accelerates kingpin and bushing wear and produces steering play. Manufactured by Dana Spicer, this seal is formed to the original profile so it seats correctly in the housing bore without additional shimming or adapters. On installation, clean the bore surface and press the seal evenly to avoid distorting the sealing lip.
