Donaldson - P550148 - Hydraulic Filter Spin-On

This hydraulic oil filter captures contaminants from the hydraulic circuit before fluid reaches the pumps and control valves. It is installed in the return or pressure line of the hydraulic system on the host combine harvester. A clogged filter element forces the bypass valve open, allowing unfiltered fluid to circulate and accelerate wear on spools, seals, and the pump swash plate. The Donaldson element uses a pleated cellulose-synthetic media that provides consistent filtration efficiency across the rated flow range. When replacing, clean the housing interior and verify the bypass valve seats correctly before torquing the cover to specification.
