This fuel filter element removes particulate and water from the fuel supply before it reaches the injection pump. It is installed in the primary or secondary filtration position on the engine fuel system. A restricted element reduces fuel flow, causing hard starting and power loss under load. The filter uses the specified thread pitch and seal diameter to match the housing without adapter rings. Replace the drain valve O-ring during service and prime the system after installation.
