This V-belt transmits power from the engine to the threshing drum on a combine harvester. It sits on the pulleys between the engine output and the threshing mechanism input. A worn or slipping belt reduces drum speed, causing incomplete separation of grain from the crop material. The belt is constructed with aramid cord and a rubber compound that resists heat buildup under load. When replacing, ensure the belt is tensioned to the manufacturer's specification and that the pulley grooves are free of debris to prevent premature wear.
