This V-belt transmits drive torque from the engine pulley to the threshing mechanism input shaft. It sits in the drive system of the parent combine, coupling the engine output to the threshing drum and associated rotating assemblies. A worn or slipping belt reduces drum speed, leading to incomplete grain separation and increased losses out the rear of the machine. The belt is constructed with a single rib and aramid tensile cords to maintain tension under load and resist oil contamination common in the engine compartment. On installation, check pulley alignment and tension the belt to the manufacturer's specification to prevent premature wear.
