This is a pressure-compensated 3-way flow control valve. It allows for the adjustment of a constant fluid flow at port A, independent of pressure fluctuations. Excess flow is directed to port B, which can be used as a second operating port or a return port to a reservoir. The valve's integrated check valve permits free flow of hydraulic fluid from A to P.
