This chipping share has a hard coating applied to its main wear zone on the top, under inert gas. The coating is a mixture of carbon, silicon, manganese, and chromium, used in earthworks, and has a final hardness of 57-62 HRC. Do not tighten screws and nuts with a pneumatic tool, as it can cause stress cracks and damage the wear part.
