This PTA-coated flail mulcher blade is produced using a high-performance thermal coating process. A high-energy plasma arc melts the surface of the base material, and metal powder is introduced and melted in the arc, allowing for coating with high-alloy materials like tungsten carbide-reinforced nickel-based or cobalt-based alloys. This process creates a strong, wear-resistant bond between the coating and the base body, helping the flail maintain its shape and sharpness.
