This additional control unit is a 5/4-way valve used for manual control of cylinders and hydraulic motors. It features a load-sensing valve and spool-sealed cylinder connections A and B, which allows for very low leakage under high loads. The unit has a detent position for lifting, equipped with hydraulic automatic end shut-off. Moving past the lowering position activates a detented float position, which is not hydraulically released, connecting consumer ports A and B to the return. This float position can also be used as a detented lowering position, requiring attention to the lowering speed. The valve includes a flow control valve for presetting the volume flow to consumer ports A and B. Consumer ports A and B are designed as flange surfaces to allow direct mounting of the New Holland coupling block. The additional control valve can be equipped with either a single lever or a cable remote control, and a check valve is present to prevent pressure drop against the flow direction.
