This 2-way pressure compensator, integrated into an intermediate plate, stabilizes the pressure difference across the flow control valve, making the volume flow independent of consumer load changes and pump pressure fluctuations. The piston position is regulated by the pressure difference measured before and after the valve. The pressure difference is determined by the spring pressure on the piston face and stabilized by throttling the volume flow through the piston. In its basic position, the pressure compensator is open. The volume flow and consumer speed can be continuously adjusted by changing the diameter range of the flow control valve or by altering the pressure difference on the pressure compensator via an adjustment screw. It is connected between the pump and the flow control valve. Inlet pressure compensators should only be used in the positive load direction, opposite to the consumer's movement. Model C includes a logic valve in the housing to read pressure from both consumer channels depending on the direction of movement.
