This upper link connects the tractor’s three-point hitch to the implement, transmitting draft and lift forces through a ball-and-hook interface. It is adjustable in length, allowing the operator to set the working angle of the attached implement without changing the link itself. The ball end mounts on the tractor side; the hook end engages the implement’s top-link pin. A worn or elongated ball bore introduces play in the hitch, causing uneven implement attitude and accelerated wear on the lower links. On installation, verify that the ball and hook seats are clean and that the locking mechanism on the hook side engages fully.
