This left-side moldboard share is the wear component that forms the leading edge of the plow body. It cuts and turns the furrow slice, directing soil onto the moldboard surface behind it. The share is mounted to the plow frog using three bolts; the hole spacing matches the standard pattern on the ZX body type. As the share wears, the cutting edge dulls and the plow begins to pull harder, requiring more draft force and leaving a less clean furrow wall. The manufacturer machines the share to the same profile as the original so the bolt holes align without modification and the cutting edge maintains the correct angle relative to the landside. On reinstall, use new plow bolts and torque them to the specification for the thread size.
