This right-side moldboard is the replaceable wearing surface bolted to the plow body. It forms the curved face that lifts and inverts the furrow slice as the share cuts the soil. The moldboard is shaped to match the AR8HLM and H8 body types, ensuring the correct curvature for consistent furrow turnover and soil burial. Wear on the moldboard face reduces the plow’s ability to invert the soil evenly, leading to uneven residue coverage. The part is secured to the plow body with two-point oval-head plow bolts; these bolts must be torqued to specification on installation. The corresponding left-side moldboard is a separate part.
