This cab suspension cushion mounts between the frame base and the cab structure, isolating the operator station from chassis-borne vibration and shock loads transmitted through the tractor’s rear axle and linkage. It acts as a compliant interface that damps low-frequency oscillations before they reach the cab mounts. When the cushion degrades or loses its elastic modulus, the cab transmits more vibration to the operator, which accelerates wear on cab-interior fasteners and seals. The manufacturer machines this cushion to the same durometer and dimensional envelope as the original assembly, so it seats fully in the frame pocket without shimming. On replacement, ensure the mounting surface is clean and free of debris, then torque the retaining hardware to the specification for the host tractor.
