This auxiliary control unit is a 5/4-way valve used for the manual control of cylinders and hydraulic motors. It features spool-sealed consumer ports A and B, which allows for very low leakage under high loads. The unit has a detent position for lifting, equipped with a hydraulic automatic end cut-off. Moving past the lowering position activates a detented float position, connecting consumer ports A and B to the return, which can be used as a detented lowering position for both double-acting and single-acting lifting cylinders. The auxiliary control unit can be switched between double-acting and single-acting modes, even during operation.
