This is a left-hand reversible point share with large carbide plates on the top for maximum wear protection. A triangular carbide plate is embedded in the base on the underside to prevent breakage, and the hardening process is applied after soldering to maintain full hardness in the base. Screws and nuts should not be tightened with a pneumatic tool, as it can damage the wear part by causing stress cracks.
