This left-hand chisel is a replaceable wear part for the tillage assembly of a plow. It is mounted to the plow frame using three holes, which provide a stable attachment and allow for adjustment of the working depth or angle. The chisel fractures and loosens soil as the machine moves forward, preparing the seedbed. A worn chisel increases draft force and produces an uneven soil profile, reducing the quality of the subsequent tillage pass.
