Self-propelled, super comfortable Honda lawn mower with cutting width (53 cm), cutting height range (19-101 mm, 7 steps), MicroCut® twin blade system and Versamow® variable mulching system. It is equipped with a new generation engine from the GCVx series, SELECT DRIVE™ - a cutting speed adjustment system and a safe operation system: Honda ROTOSTOP®. It is intended for mowing, mulching grass, collecting and shredding leaves and, optionally, for aerating the ground. Cutting area up to 1800 m2.
It is one of the most modern lawn mowers equipped with the latest Honda four-stroke engine from the GCVx series designed with the future in mind and meeting expectations for lawn care machines well in advance. The engine with greater power and torque significantly improves the mowing and grass collection process. It is also even more environmentally friendly, as it meets European EURO5 emission standards with a large margin and the more stringent American CARB and EPA standards, thanks to the use of stable combustion technology (SCT), which results in more efficient and cleaner combustion. GCVx is also equipped with an improved ACS auto-choke system which ensures easier engine starting and comfortable operation, as well as a new-design muffler with a cover that significantly reduces high-frequency sounds. Also with the mower user in mind, engine maintenance has been made easier so that refueling, oil changes or air filter replacement are easy to perform.
Designed with the mower user's comfort in mind, SELECT DRIVE™ enables smooth adjustment of the cutting speed in the range from 0 to 6.4 km/h according to the density and height of the grass and the operator's stride length. The innovative design of the SELECT DRIVE™ system provides the user with precise selection of the cutting speed by turning an ergonomically placed knob, and the drive is engaged by pressing the drive lever. After pressing the lever, the control panel becomes an integral part of the mower handle providing more comfort during work.
The special twin blade cutting system enables excellent quality cutting and allows a high degree of grass shredding. The leading upper blade performs the basic cut, and the lower blade cuts the clippings into smaller pieces. The clippings then circulating inside the housing are further shredded. The effect of this system is more precise shredding and 30% better bag filling than in the case of a single blade system.
This is a unique Honda solution enabling collection into the bag, spreading or mulching grass or leaves without any additional parts or tools. Using the Clip Director™ lever, the mower user decides how much of the clippings will be collected into the bag, and how much will be shredded and left on the lawn surface as mulch, to soon turn into natural fertilizer.
The mower safety system that ensures disengagement of the blade drive from the engine (mower cutting system clutch). It protects the mower in the event of blade overload, and also allows safe emptying of the bag without having to turn off the mower engine.
