This rear axle seal ring is a replacement component for the final drive housing on agricultural tractors. It sits between the axle shaft and the housing bore, preventing gear oil from migrating past the bearing assembly and reaching the brake chamber or the outside of the hub. A degraded seal allows lubricant loss and contamination of the brake linings, which reduces braking effectiveness and accelerates hub-component wear. The ring is manufactured to match the original housing’s seal-groove geometry so that the interference fit against the shaft is maintained without additional shimming.
