The Fendt Katana is a forage harvester from the agricultural machinery manufacturer Fendt, primarily used for corn harvesting and grass cutting. The latest model Katana 850 was first presented in 2022 and has an incredible 847 PS and, with a diameter of 720 mm, features the largest chopping drum on the market. The harvester series is named after the Japanese long sword of the same name. Now the Katana forage harvester with the large cutting unit comes as an officially licensed RC model from JAMARA in scale 1:24, to the playfields in the children's room. The large corn harvesting attachment with its rotating intake drums is manually height-adjustable, and the two large side drums on the cutting unit can be folded up for transport. When the cutting unit is lowered manually, the four large intake drums, which transport the harvested material to the chopper, rotate during driving, just like a real corn harvester. The large discharge chute is movable in all directions, allowing for a realistic simulation of ejecting chopped material onto a loader wagon. The remote control is a real small command center and allows for playfully easy control of the agile, rear-steered model. The Fendt's sound palette ranges from realistic engine sound (switchable) to the horn and reverse warning sound. The Katana features an auto-shutdown function when not played with for a longer period and LED lighting that can be switched on and off. All these criteria make the harvester an indispensable helper on every living room and garden farm and optimally complements JAMARA's agricultural machinery series.
