This 90-degree grease nipple delivers lubricant to bearing points that are obstructed or recessed within the machine frame. Its angled body routes the grease line away from the fitting axis, allowing the lubrication gun to connect where a straight nipple would be inaccessible. The M6 thread secures into the tapped port of the pivot pin or bushing housing. A worn or missing nipple allows contaminants to enter the lubrication passage, accelerating wear on the pin and bore surfaces. On replacement, ensure the seating face is clean and the nipple is tightened to a firm stop to prevent leakage.
