This right-hand ploughshare is the replaceable cutting edge that slices through the soil ahead of the moldboard on a reversible or semi-mounted plow. It mounts to the frog or leg of the plow body and is the primary wear component in the tillage assembly. A worn share increases draft force, reduces furrow definition, and causes uneven soil inversion. The manufacturer machines this replacement to the same profile and hole pattern as the original, so it seats flush against the frog without modification. On installation, use the original mounting bolts and tighten them to the specified torque.
