This left-side plowshare is the ground-engaging component that cuts the furrow slice and lifts it onto the moldboard. It mounts to the frog of the plow body and is the primary wear surface that defines the furrow profile. The share's leading edge and wing take the highest abrasion load during operation. A worn share increases draft force and produces an irregular furrow wall, which affects the quality of subsequent tillage passes. This original part is formed to the same curvature and bolt-hole geometry as the factory share, so it seats flush against the frog without shimming. On installation, use the specified bolts and tighten to the torque required for the plow body.
