Lister, originally R. A. Lister and Company, was a British manufacturer of internal combustion engines, agricultural machinery, and other engineering products. Founded in 1867 by Robert Ashton Lister in Dursley, Gloucestershire, England, the company became renowned for its robust and reliable stationary engines. These engines were widely adopted for various applications, particularly in agriculture and remote industrial settings, due to their simple design and durability. Historically, Lister engines were known for their distinctive 'Listeroid' design, which became a popular choice for powering irrigation pumps, generators, and small farm machinery. While the original company has undergone various changes and mergers, the legacy of its durable engine designs continues. The brand's focus was always on producing power units that could operate reliably in challenging conditions with minimal maintenance. At Partao, we provide a range of Lister spare parts to keep your legacy equipment running.
