LOCTITE 572 is a white, medium-strength, thixotropic, methacrylate-based anaerobic thread sealant designed for the locking and sealing of coarse metal pipes and fittings. This genuine Loctite product cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces, effectively preventing loosening and leakage caused by shock and vibration. It is ideal for applications on stainless steel and plated surfaces where a slow cure is desired for adjustment, offering a fixture time of 1 hour on steel and 4 hours on brass, with a full cure in 24 hours. It can seal threads up to M80 (R3") and operates in service temperatures from -55°C to +150°C.
