Loctite 518 is a high-strength, anaerobic gasketing product designed for use on rigid iron, aluminum, and steel flanged mating surfaces. It cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces. This sealant provides an instant, low-pressure seal and excellent resistance to oil, water, glycol, and other chemicals. It fills gaps up to 0.25 mm and eliminates the need for conventional pre-cut gaskets, reducing inventory costs. The 300 ML cartridge provides ample material for various industrial sealing applications, offering a maximum operating temperature of 150 °C.
