Product Description

This shock absorber is installed in the clutch assembly of the host tractor. It dampens torsional vibrations transmitted from the engine to the clutch disc, reducing driveline oscillation during engagement and disengagement. A failed damper allows uncontrolled vibration that can cause clutch chatter, gear rattle, and premature wear on the input shaft splines. The manufacturer machines the damper spring pockets to the same depth as the original assembly, preserving the designed spring preload and engagement feel.
