Mann Filter - C16400 - Air Filter M&H

This external air filter from Mann-Filter captures airborne particulate before it enters the engine intake system. It mounts in the engine bay housing and is the primary barrier between the ambient air and the turbocharger or intake manifold. A loaded filter restricts airflow, which reduces combustion efficiency and can trigger an air-restriction indicator on the dashboard. The filter element is constructed to the same pleat density and media surface area as the original assembly, so it maintains the specified pressure drop across the intake path. On installation, ensure the sealing gasket seats fully in the housing groove and tighten the retaining nut to the manufacturer's torque specification.
