The filter is manufactured to the same pleat density and media surface area as the original assembly, ensuring the housing's seal is maintained and the engine receives the correct volume of clean air for combustion. On replacement, ensure the sealing surfaces of the housing are clean and the element is fully seated to prevent unfiltered air from entering the intake.
