Mann Filter - H1038X - Engine Oil Filter

This engine oil filter removes particulate and contaminants from the engine lubrication circuit of a grain harvester. It mounts on the engine block and receives oil from the pump before the oil reaches the main bearing galleries and critical rotating assemblies. A clogged filter forces the internal bypass valve to open, allowing unfiltered oil to circulate, which accelerates bearing and journal wear. The filter element is constructed with a pleated paper medium and a steel end cap assembly that matches the housing seal groove for proper bypass-valve seating. On installation, lightly lubricate the gasket face and tighten the filter canister by hand only; overtightening can distort the seal.
